On Digital Photography And
Digital Cameras

This is
where we will start posting any news articles on Digital
Photography and Digital Camera information. We are still working
on the news sources to keep out all the less than valuable stuff.
In January
the Consumer Electronics Show provided a look at the latest and
greatest product releases for Digital Photography and Digital
Cameras.
In a
nutshell, most new models have increased the megapixels to 12-14
on many of the new cameral models. There has also been some
automatic WiFi connectivity included on camera models and memory
storage cards. Better face recognition software, HD video, wider
and longer focus zoom lenses (equivalent of 28mm to 135mm), and
recording GPS information on each picture have all been announced
by the major manufacturers.
Compact
cameras models got over 45 new versions introduced since it is the
most popular style digital camera for consumers, especially
beginners. Most of the newer models have higher price tags to go
with the new and enhanced capabilities. Call me crazy but trying
to get over $400 for a point and shoot digital camera is beyond my
understanding.

new reviews will be available soon on many of the new camera
models with some hands on information. When available we'll post
